I have used these guys more than once and they always get the job done! Chad had to make several trips for parts, but got it everything fixed! Thanks again!
Shortly after moving into our home with the first pool we’ve ever had, my husband experienced his first of four strokes. I was left to handle most everything. We’ve used The Pool Scrubbers ever since. They do their work efficiently and timely. They communicate each week what services were performed. The thing I appreciate the most is their patience in educating me about my pool and its’ functions. Try them!
I WAS JUST GETTING MY POOL SPICK AND SPAN AND ALL OF A SUDDEN MY POOL PUMP QUICK WORKING.. I EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM AND HE TOLD ME RIGHT OVER THE PHONE HOW TO FIX THE ISSUE .IN5 MINUTES, IT WAS FIXED - JUST DID WHAT HE SAID. ALSO, 1 1/2 YEARS AGO, HE PUT IN A NEW FILTER AND IT HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND POOL SCRUBBERS LLC TO DO ANY KIND OF POOLWORK NEEDED. I WILL NEVER CALL ANYONE ELSE BUT CHAD AND POOL SCRUBBERS LLC..
Solid company. I've done business with them several times. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I will continue to hire them for any future issues.
The pool cleanings started off great, then slacked up as if the cleaner was always in a hurry. I canceled my service when I had to vacuum my pool after it was cleaned and hour earlier. They said they would come back out that day, but did not. The quality of cleaning did not match the higher monthly price than other companies.
We are sorry you had a bad experience, note: This was found out to be true, and as a result the employee was terminated. Always hard to find and keep outstanding employees, but we do not tolerate laziness or poor work.
I’ve been using pool scrubbers for several years now after trying several different pool. These guys are hands down the best ones from customer service to solve issues to explaining what they’re doing to take care of your pool and why. Over the years they have saved me many net by taking great care of our pool and bringing up issues as they arise before the repairs get to expensive.
GREAT JOB and Thank you for treating my pool like it’s yours.
My husband had to have open heart surgery so we needed help with our pool. I chose this pool company because I like to give local small businesses in our area our business. They have been been responsive, reliable, do a great job, and the office personnel is great to work with! I highly recommend the Pool Scrubbers for your pool needs.
I have been a customer of Pool Scrubbers for over 2 years. At the beginning they had very experienced technicians and all went well. But this past year their quality of Service dropped dramatically as they hired new people to replace their old staff. I even purchased a $750 pool cleaner with a 2 yr warranty but once I started to have issues with it not working and their crew not back flushing my pool.. The Owners Matt, Chad, and Cassie got upset with me because I dare question their quality of their work. They told me they no longer wanted to service my pool because of my attitude. On top of that they were not willing to stand behind the 2yr warranty that they gave me on the Pentair pool cleaner. Instead they suggested I get a 1 yr warranty from Pentair direct. On the last day of service, they took out over 4 inches of water from my pool after, doing a back wash and for some reason unknown to me the O'Ring seal that connects the Pentair Pool cleaner to the pool was blown out not allowing enough air to run the cleaner and the filter pressure was still above 25ls which causes the Pentair unit not to run. They left me with out a functioning pool cleaner, lowered the water below the intake and did not back flush my pool properly and its my fault because I called them on it.
In closing, I would not recommend this company to cleans/wash my dishes let alone a clean a
pool. They do not stand behind their work. SAD!!
We take all reviews very seriously, and as you can see, for two years things went very well and this was a happy customer. We acknowledge during the fall/winter of 2018, we did have some problems with an employee that was not doing work to our standards, and after we got several customer complaints, we made the necessary changes. However, there are always two sides to the story, From our perspective, there is a right and a wrong way to interact for our customers to interact with our staff. Despite our many efforts to please this customer, including many follow up visits to address the problems brought to our attention, unfortunately the customer became more and more hostile, it just got worse and worse, until finally we had had enough. The customer repeatedly chose what we consider to be the wrong way to deal with the our staff. Without going into details, WE made the decision it was best to end our business relationship, and we did so in a calm professional manner via email, and tried to part on good terms. Unfortunately, It only got worse from there. As for the the pool cleaner robot spoken of, the product was still under warranty, and we explained that the company who made the product would be able to service the product, but we no longer wanted to subject our staff to what we considered to be a hostile work environment, that being said, we did our best to learn from the experience and move on, and we appreciate the feedback, and we are keeping the review on our website so people can see we are honest and transparent with our reviews.
My husband and recently had a pool renovation and by the end of the job, we became so frustrated with the contractors that I started looking for someone to come out and finish a few items that still needed completed. The day I called The Pool Scrubbers I talked with Jason. He came to our house the very next day and my husband and I hired The Pool Scrubbers to complete the work and start us on a weekly maintainence program. Jason and Chad completed in two days what we have been trying to get completed for one month prior to contacting The Pool Scrubbers. I am so grateful we found this company and recommend them to anyone looking for good quality workmanship, knowledge of pools and how they work and one more important item, affordable rates!
Chad was very responsive and did what he said he was going to do. Communicate through the whole process, so much so I did not even see him through the process. They are in my calling book from now on.

I recent;y purchased a house that came with a pool/spa, however the heater went out and I couldn't enjoy the spa. I ordered a new heater through The Pool Scrubbers and their total price, including installation and taxes, was about half of other quotes I received. They missed their first installation date, due to their supplier sending them the wrong unit, so I don't fault them on that. They came out the very next business day and installed the unit, and installed some additional preventative maintenance components that I didn't even know was part of the deal. It took them about 2 hours to get all of the work done, and I was finally able to enjoy my new spa. I'm very pleased with their work and responsiveness. I will turn to them again in the future, if additional service is needed.

Description Of Work: Re-sealed my flag and stack stones around my pool.
Member Comments:
I found Pool Scrubbers on Angie's List with an A rating with lots of reviews. I called and Chad came by, looked at the pool and what it would take to re-do the stone sealing. My wife and I prepared the pool by lowering the water level and prayed it did no rain. Chad arrived on Saturday morning and the whole process was done within an hour. The product he used dried with two hours and we were back in our spa that evening, the water in the pool was to cold for swimming. Over all I give Pool Scrubbers and A+ rating and will use them again when I need pool maintenance. I highly recommend them.

Description Of Work: New pool heater installation, replace leaky pipe, replace pipe section and add check valve, clean and service filter.
Member Comments: Chad arrived early in the morning as expected, and after explaining the job and listening to our other add-on work, he went right to work. He had an obviously deep knowledge of the various equipment and pool automation controller system that we have. Another worker arrived shortly thereafter with pool heater and the entire job was complete in about two hours.
Before departing, Chad explained the operation of the new pool heater, warranty, etc. and answered any questions we had about the pool and the equipment in general, most of which were not even related to the work he came to do!
He also did not "nickel and dime" us, performing the other minor repairs (replacing leaky pipe, pipe section, etc.) without any additional charges.
Having experienced what other pool repair companies are like (this is our fourth pool), this company "The Pool Scrubbers" is a real gem! HIGHLY recommend - we will be using them for all future work.

Didn't think they could do it without draining the pool, but they did!!! Pool looks so good you want to dive right in.
We've signed up for weekly maintenance with them we're so happy.

Description Of Work: I had a leak in the plumbing to my main pump that I asked Pool Scrubbers to fix.
Member Comments: They did a good job on the repair and the cost was reasonable. They are not as good at contacting customers and keeping to their commitment on date and time. Corey, the son, is good at texting but, in general, they didn't come out when they said and didn't call to say that they weren't coming. I asked them back for another repair and when they didn't show up a couple of times, I used someone else that came out immediately. If you have a lot of patience and stay at home, you might use them.
Company Response: This is why we love Angie's List! this is great feedback, and we appreciate it! As a result,we have looked into things and talked with Cody, and this is what we learned. After we repaired the leak, she let us know she thought her pool pump was out. Cody went back over there and discovered there was just a short in the main circuit board, we were able to get the pump running again, and we did not charge her. Apparently there was something else that she wanted done that did not make it on to the service schedule , she texted Cody and said that something else was wrong he went by a couple of times and could not get in the back yard, and it did not get placed back on the schedule to be taken care of. Thank you for the feedback, as always, we will work to improve in every way we can.

Just moved in to this home with a pool , I called them for some help , Nothing But Positive Results ! Thank you all for your help POOL SCRUBBERS.
Always get fast response and excellent service.
We had lightening strikes at our house that burned out the pool controls. Pool Scrubbers was able to get this fixed quick and at a reasonable cost. We upgraded to the IAguaLink system and like it a lot.
Thier weekly services are done by Blake and he always takes extra time to be sure things are done right. And if he sees anything else out of place around the house he lets us know, in case we are not home or just missed something.
You cannot go wrong with this excellent company that is family owned and run.

Member Comments: Chad and his team did an excellent job at a fair price. They re plastered the pool and spa and installed LED replacement lights and a pool medallion we had purchased elsewhere. They took the time to meet our exacting standards on the placement of the medallions. They also took the time to troubleshoot my spa blower, answer my numerous questions and reprogram our indoor pool controller. Description Of Work: Contracted Pool Scrubbers to do weekly pool mainteance. They were recommended, and I used them for re-modeling work first.
Member Comments: Re-modelingwork was awesome, Matt did a really good job [2 years ago].
So we hired them to do weekly service. It went well at first but not so much recently. Pool water quality seemed worse. I finally took some to Leslie's for analysis. I had zero conditioner, high phosphates and high pH. The pool was not being swept, and I finally caught them out when I stayed home on the day of normal service. I got the usual "everything is OK" text, but they never showed up that day. Now my pool has algae, I am going to drain the pool and refill to get water chemistry back to normal. My salt cell has been not working and Pool Scubbers did not have the knowledge to find this out and inform me. HAte to write this, becasue Matt is a stad up guy, but his new partners don't have a clue.

Company Response: Always two sides to every story...sorry [member name removed] was not satisfied, and we feel the need to address the comment that "the new partners don't have a clue" Chad and Linda Setzer have been partners and running the day to day operations of The Pool Scrubbers LLC since January 2013 (Matt no longer works in the field due to the illness and passing of his wife) . Chad has over 25 years of experience with pools and is capable of repairing and replacing every single part on a pool and runs almost every aspect of the field work. Cody is our lead pool cleaner and part time service tech is a certified pool operator with Galveston County and has 5 years experience. We take care of about 70 pools a week (weekly service) and do over 500 service calls and 50 remodel projects a year. So clearly we must have a clue about what we are doing. We took care of this pool for over two years, always had issues with the gate being locked, but doing our best to meet their needs. We even provided weekly service at a discounted rate while they had a major health crisis in their family. Not sure what happened on this specific day, nor did we have the opportunity to address the salt water system issues (it is at least a 5 year old system and could have eaisly replaced the cell at a cost of about $800). We try and avoid going tha route unless we have too. However...with all that said, we have always admitted we are not perfect, we make mistakes, but strive to correct them and make our customers happy. Lastly although [member name removed] is not to he easiest person to deal with he has a right to expect excellent service. We are sorry we did not live up to those expectations and will miss having them as a customer. We will use this review as constructive criticism and strive to do better.
We recently received this note from a weekly service customer
"Cody (PS team),
Thanks a million for all of the constant communication and status update. What a huge breath of fresh air from my prior service company. Just wanted to send you all a thank you note... You guys are simply great...Thanks again to all of you for such amazing service so far."
The service and products provided were excellent. We recognize that we can be difficult to work for because we have high standards that we expect others to meet. Chad and his team listened to our desires and understood what was important to us. He did a decent job of keeping us informed on what was going on. We highly recommend this excellent company.

(Left on our facebook page) "Just wanted to thank you for wasting our time today. We had an appointment set for after 1p today but you failed to show up/call. My money is going elsewhere.. "
Company Response:
Not sure what happened here..we may have dropped the ball on this one during a very busy time of year. Our apologies, we would have certainly been glad to re-schedule..I guess were human 🙂
We had someone come out and give us a price and he explained what he would do. My husband liked him but we decided to go with a different type of pool deck.
Work Performed 10/28/14 ( review from Angie's List) All involved were courteous, with punctual estimate (since they live less than 2 miles from my home), and good communication throughout. Only issue was with my pool not having all the chemicals balanced, and having NO salt added even though I was told it was all done and was requested to (and did) pay. The tech left the pool water level/filler monitor on my back deck over the weekend, and that to me meant they weren't done yet. Went to have my water tested, and there had been no salt added to the pool at all, and my pool has a salt chlorinator.Called to bring that to their attention, and the tech was back out for 2-3 days to get the salt level correct without further prompting. All in all, they seem to be a family business that tries to keep their customers happy. I can't say that I was thrilled with the oversight on the water chemistry (had I run the salt chlorinator with no salt in the pool it could have damaged the cell), but they did come back and make things right. Will give them a B rating and the benefit of the doubt based on this service call, and not having done business with them before.
Date of Service July 1, 2014 Very nice people. Only complaint is that I think I could have bought the chlorinator at Leslie's for about half the price they charged me. Was satisfied with the installation and appreciated that fit me in before the 4th of July.
Repair went great. I had never used them before need an emergency repair. They came out one day and ordered the part. They next day I came home and the pool was running, all in time for my 4th of July party. Repair was pricey but pool pumps are pricey. I was very satisfied and this is rare when dealing with pool repair. (Work performed on 7/1/14 Review left on Angie's List)
They replaced my pump and filter and recommended steps to get the water cleared up. They were very professional, punctual, and helpful. (Work performed 12/15/14, review from Angie's List)
I love that Aaron sends me an email every week to confirm he has stopped by. The communication all around is great - Linda and Cassie are a pleasure to deal with and the service (like this week when they replaced my cleaner pump) is prompt and professional. Thanks guys!
I've always had great service from The Pool Scrubbers. They fixed a troubling issue I had with my spa heater and then came in and fixed a few flagged items on a home inspection in a timely manner and provided documents essential to the closing on my home. Competitive pricing, prompt, quality service, and they won't nickle and dime you on small items like other companies.
Once again Chad has rescued me. I can't say enough about these folks. My pump motor died, these folks were were on top of it as always. One phone call, and an email got me back to normal. Superb workmanship, prompt service, reasonable price. WHY AREN'T YOU CALLING POOL SCRUBBERS?
The Poolscrubbers did a wonderful job on replacing our pump and filter, very good job, explained everything to us, and reasonable prices!
Best investment ever. These guys did a conversion on our 11,000 gallon pool this past February. I spent $14 on 2 bags of salt immediately afterwards. I HAVE NOT used either since. Compared to about $350 per summer on chemicals, it's a no brainer. Give them a call, please.
The quote was to drain, acid wash, refill, clean the DE filters and balance the chemicals in ~15k gallon pool.
(Review from Angie's List)
Member Comments:
After emptying and acid washing pool, they returned on Monday to clean the DE filters and balance the chemicals. They called and said they couldn't clean the filters or balance the pool until we replaced our pump for $799. When we let them know our pump was new, they called back and said it started working, so they finished their work and we paid in full.
By Thursday of the same week, the pool was very cloudy, and the pressure was very high on the filter, which seemed odd since the pool and the filter was cleaned four days earlier. There was also no sign of any residual DE that is typical when our filter is cleaned. After the tech returned several times, the owner Chad finally came out to balance the pool. I asked about the remaining stains in the pool and he explained that the acid doesn't run evenly down the walls of the pool so there are sometimes residual stains. At that time, he suggested using the pool through the summer and then he would return in the fall to try a new chemical additive technology that he heard works to remove pool stains and we agreed. We even hired his weekly pool service at $180 per month.
After a few weeks of service, we noticed the water level was dropping much faster than normal and asked their pool technician to check it out, because we suspected a leak. He noticed the valve on the pump suction was set between "drain" and "skimmer" and said we were draining the pool. We have maintained our pool for many years and are not ignorant about the system. The valve he referred to is the suction to the pump upstream of the filter. With the pool losing water, circulation from the drain was preventing the pump from air locking if the level dropped below the skimmers. That valve does not drain the pool. That actual drain valve is downstream of the pump. After weeks of going back and forth, with the technician switching the valve to skimmer and me switching it back to split between drain and skimmer, I asked for Chad to return to see if we had a leak and was told it would cost an additional $100. By this time, after expressing my frustration about their technician's incompetence and the company wanting extra money on top of a very high pool service charge, they cancelled my service. They also refused to return to try the chemical additive to remove the remaining stains.
I hired another service the same week they cancelled my service, and they began by cleaning our DE filter. Our new technician took before and after pictures of the filters and it became clear to me that they did not clean the filters after the original acid wash service.
Not what I expected from a highly rated Angie's List contractor.
Company Response:
This has been a very disappointing outcome for everyone. Here are the facts from our perspective, on April 18 2014 we did an estimate to drain and clean, and acid wash the pool, we began that job on 5/3/14, and completed the work and were paid in full on 5/05/14. We had a few concerns raised after the fact regarding the balance of chemicals (not the outcome of the drain and clean) and we came out several times and did as much as we could to make them happy. Apparently they were happy enough with our work to ask us to maintain the pool, which we did from May-August. We had several issues personality conflicts with the customer. At one point she called our office screaming and called several of my employees terrible names (using profanity) which I will not repeat. She had treated our employees like this on more than one occasion. At that time we told her that we were not going to be treated that way by anyone, and told her we would no longer be doing weekly service. On 10/05/14, she sent us a message asking us to come out and fix the stains in her plaster that did not come out from the work completed back in May (drain and clean). I sent her a very polite response and explained that I was sorry to inform her that we will no longer being doing business with her or ever coming back on to her property. I explained that it was due to many of our negative interactions with her. I said we do not promise or represent that a drain clean acid wash is going to make your pool look like it has new plaster. That is why I post before and after pictures on our website. We do our best, but there are some stains that just never come out. I further explained that we were having issues with the pump being off, (not sure if it was a timer issue or someone shutting it off). In any case, we did everything we could but everyone has their limits. We had reached ours. Sorry this did not come out well. I again point out that we take care of 80 pools a week, we do over 5-10 service calls a day, up to 20-50 per week. We strive to deliver exactly what we quote on the estimate in a timely manner. We treat others as we would like to be treated. There comes a time when a business has the right to refuse service to those customers who become unreasonable, and sadly we reached that point with this customer. Sorry they were disappointed. We take all of our reviews very seriously, and we will try and use this as a learning experience and hope that our customers can read our other reviews and give us an opportunity to show that this one in particular does not represent our company. Thank you, Owners: The Pool Scrubbers LLC.
Pool Scrubbers came out and fixed my Issues in a very timely manner, we had a minor issue and management corrected it very quick and all is perfect now, I would highly recommend this group to everyone who is in need of pool services!!!!!
Scheduling was easy, work was done as expected, met all time frames (except weather delay!), will most likely call them again for another project I'm thinking of. Great experience overall!
Being a first time pool owner I had tons of questions. Chad and his staff have been so helpful, informative and very personable. Their response time, quality of work and pricing have been by far outstanding. They certainly have a new loyal customer that will recommend them to everyone we know with a pool!
From Angie's List: Replaced lights, cleaned tile, converted to salt water, and did some concrete work with cool decking.
Member Comments:
Really liked this company. When we called we weren't sure if the tile needed to be replaced. Chad told us he could replace it but that it really did not need it. It just needed a good cleaning and some minor grout work. He could have very well made more money by replacing the tile but was honest with us. They converted the pool to salt water and changed out the light system in our pool. the light system was $500 cheaper than we had previously been quoted. We had them take a part of our deck out and extend it out for a tanning area. The work was fabulous! They really worked with my schedule which was crazy due to all the contractors that were at my house over the course of the month. Overall, I am very pleased with the finished product. 🙂
After exhausting all of my DIY resources I have decided to replace my inoperable pool/spa heater. Most pool companies where about the same on their initial service call rates but could not get out to see me within two days and I had a party scheduled. Then I found Pool Scrubbers, called them and had an appointment next day. They said they could fix it however , I decided to replace the unit as the heater had many ageing issues. I expected a week to get this scheduled PARTY FOUL on me!!! ... My party was to be the up-coming Saturday. The technician could see my frustration while we where diagnosing the system and said he can be here the following day to install it. A heater is a big ticket item for me.. so I asked for some time to figure it out financially. Did some calling around to check their price against others (i'm not rich) and did not want to be hit with some kind of expedite fee. After calling around... I immediately called them back as the prices I was being quoted by the others where unbelievably way off!! as much as 75% higher. The Team showed up the next morning had it installed and working before I returned from work and left no trace of work other than a new working heater.(Very Clean). They have earned a customer for life. Fast, Personable,, very helpful, and with Fair Honest Prices. Thanks Pool Scrubber Team you saved the Day!!

Installed new pool pump and motor
Member Comments:
We discovered that our pool pump wasn't working yesterday and after doing some trouble shooting realized we needed a professional to come look at it. After some other companies told us they couldn't make it out the same day, Poolscrubbers came out within a couple of hours, checked it out , explained that we needed a new pump motor and they'd be back the next morning at 10am. They showed up right on time this morning and had us up and running with a new motor and pump in about 30 mins. They provided good, straight forward, friendly service. I would use them again.

The dreaded black algae showed up in our pool last summer. After talking to a couple other companies, and reading the reviews on this site, I called and left a message. Matt called me back within 5 minutes and scheduled a cleaning. We were very pleased when the work was done the next day. We were given an estimate on a saltwater conversion at that time too. They will be doing that before this weekend AND honoring the quoted price of 9 months ago. WHY AREN'T YOU USING THE POOL SCRUBBERS?
Submitted on 2014/02/05 at 1:21 pm
We had a salt water pool with flagstone for years and watched the flagstone deteriorate over time. There were chunks of flagstone breaking off into the pool causing safety problems and filtration problems. The flagstone also stain the bottom of the pool over time. It was a big mess!
Matt, with the Pool Scrubbers, came out to look at our pool and give us a bid for the job we were wanting done- to remove all flagstone around our pool and hot tub and replace it with a sturdy travertine. He gave us a reasonable bid for the job with a guarantee for 2 years of their work. We also had the travertine sealed and the tile on the table in the pool matched up and replaced. Matt’s team did a great job and our pool turned out beautiful! We continue to have Pool Scrubbers maintain the cleaning of our pool weekly and would highly recommend this family-owned business to anyone I know.
We have been working with The Pool Scrubbers for almost a year now and they have exceeded our expectations across the board. From their consistent weekly cleaning service to their thorough equipment repair, they have delivered a quality experience. On a number of occasions they have responded to issues in a quick and honest manner, we feel confident recommending them any day of the week.
Chad was quick to get out to our home after our request for service, was very professional, honest, and carefully explained everything to my wife about the needed repairs and options. His workmanship was also very professional. Afterward the installation work, I had some follow-up questions, and Matt was very courteous on the phone and answered all of my Qs. We definitely intend to use this company again, and highly recommend them to others.

This was a great transaction. I sent a message on Pool Scrubbers on their website on New Years Day hoping to hear back the next day but was surprised when I heard back from them on New Years Day where they scheduled my appointment 2 days later. The install was done in 2 hours, everything was cleaned up and the old unit was removed. I highly recommend using Pool Scrubbers as I will again.
I was looking for someone who could restore the functions of my Pentair Easy Touch remote. Searched the net in the Houston area and found the Pool Scrubbers. Talked to them before noon on Monday and the system was fixed before noon on Tuesday. I am impressed by the friendly customer service, the knowledge of the product and the speed with which they responded. What's even more impressive to me is that Chad came from League City all the up to The Woodlands. Thank you guys so much. Great experience. Will definitely use again if needed and they are still willing to make the drive.
Pool pump went out Christmas Day. Called Pool Scrubbers this morning December 26 to get an estimate which was fairly priced so asked them to replace the pump. They were able to do it same day. Chad did the replacement work, programmed the new pump (I went with the variable speed pump to replace a single speed one), and explained it's operation to me. I highly recommend them.

Pool lights and heater repair.

I've used Pool Scrubbers for several different issues on my pool and deck. The company has always promptly responded to my requests for service. They never make any repairs until they fully explain the problem, and give a cost estimate. I would highly recommend them and will continue using them for pool maintenance.
Very pleased with the very rapid response I had with the visit and replacement of my spa/pool heater. They were very friendly and Chad seems very competent in getting the heater up and running. They even installed during a slight drizzle and cold day! Cost was a little over $3000.00
They are always nice, courteous, and on time at a fair price. I will use them as my pool repair go to people.
WOW! Pool Scrubbers did a fantastic job straightening out my pool problems. Not only did they start the job right away, but they finished on time and within budget. They re-plastered my pool and straightened out my pool equipment and are now maintaining my pool. I am based out-of-town and contracted them based on our phone conversations and they delivered as discussed. I arrived in Friendswood while they were working the job to see the results and they made themselves available to go over all the work they had accomplished and discuss the specifics necessary to complete the job. I recommend them for your next pool maintenance or repair. (pictures of her pool remodel project are posted on the website under pool remodeling)

Description Of Work:
We had all coping and tile replaced, a new filter, new pump, remote control system , new pool heater, salt filter, pool fence, LD light, removal of old diving board, repair of ladder steps. This is a huge pool, and all of this was way beyond what you would do for a "modern pool." . Pool is over 30 years old, and has a deep end of 8 foot and a spa.

I had fought to make this pool work for several years and the last two years, I all but gave up. We used it a few times a year and dumped tons of chemicals in it. It was a money hole with no enjoyment. We finally bit the bullet to get it either fixed or blown up. I sent several emails out asking for estimates from Angie's list providers on a Saturday. They responded within 2 hours and came over on a Saturday to set and talk with my husband and I about what we wanted. They did not give me the cheapest estimate, but I was not looking to go as cheap as possible. I was looking for an end to this headache. And bottom line , their estimate was not that much over the cheaper estimates. They obviously knew what they were doing. They did not try once to push us into more than we wanted. In fact they advised much of what we did could wait. But did acknowledge that in the future it would need to be done. We wanted to do everything and get it over with. They walked us thru our choices and told us exactly what this was going to be like and how it would be very scary in the beginning as they destroyed what had to be destroyed. Victor lead the crew that did our pool, and we could not have asked for harder working men, nor more polite and knowledgeable We have dogs and they were wonderful about allowing bathroom breaks for the silly dogs who bark like crazy. This whole process took less than 2 weeks. He had told us it might take up to 3 weeks given weather problems and such, but they were done as I said in less than two weeks. Tonight , we are jumping in our hot tub. We did not go over budget and Matt himself did the finally walk thru and pool school tonight after we got home from work. I am not sorry at all I paid a bit extra for these guys and would highly recommend them. They were responsive to phone calls, and never failed to live up to their promises. The crew was absolutely top notch and did a great job cutting some pretty complicated coping shapes. They promised to come back in around 3 months to show us how to clean our salt filter and filter cartridges. Simply went better than I every thought it would. You might want to know that I am normally rather cheap and expect a lot out of people. These guys delivered.

We have been very please with our service. They email (Blake) you right after to let you know they have visited and you can email if you have concerns. Salt needed to be added in between visits and they were out the very next day! Excellent...
I used Pool Scrubbers to replace the lights in my pool and diagnose an electrical problem that kept tripping the GFCI. I've had other electricians attempt to fix the problem with no luck. Pool Scrubbers returned my calls immediately and kept in touch throughout the entire process. The lights were replaced and all electrical problems were resolved. I will definitely call them again for any of my pool needs.

Description Of Work:
Replaced tile in a raised wall section of our pool.
Member Comments:
Matt was friendly and agreeable. We contacted him for an estimate to retile a portion of our pool wall. We initially had some miscommunication about meeting, but he bent over backwards to come see us and give us an estimate. After getting a few quotes, we decided to go with him.
Our pool is 20 years old, and it was hard to find tile that would match. We were able to agree upon some tile that would closely match, but it had to be ordered and shipped here, which took some time. He had to work around our busy schedule and around the schedule of his installer, but he was patient and we finally found a time that would work.
His installer, Victor, came with his crew and neatly and quickly did the job. It took about a day to complete. They kept as much of the water in the pool as they could so we wouldn't have to completely refill the pool. Once they finished, they got all the tile out of the bottom of the pool. Matt came by several times to check on their progress. After it was completed, he came again and had his employees vacuum the bottom of the pool to completely clean the bottom from any tile residue. We would definitely use them again in the future.
We have a large Lazy River in our pool. The large 10hp electric motor had gone out. River Flow contacted The Pool Scrubbers LLC and asked them to come out and replace our motor as they were the only licensed technicians in our area. This was not a typical repair for them, yet they worked diligently to learn the procedure to get the job done. Our overall experience was an A+. I would use them again no question.
These guys give accurate estimates, provide great workmanship and actually saved me a few hundred bucks by replacing a seized motor instead of the entire pump! They are now my go to guys!
We spent $350 having all of our tile cleaned. It had calcium and scale all over our back wall. The difference is amazing! I give my experience with the Pool Scrubbers an A! Their service was great, the people were very friendly and helpful. Our pool looks great! They were also very considerate of our time and schedule and even made sure our family didn't miss any swim time.
We called The Pool Scrubbers today and asked them they could do an emergency pool inspection on a home we were ready to purchase. They were very responsive and friendly and explained to us "pool newbies" everything they saw and observed about the pool. We would definitely consider The Pool Scrubbers for future work.
Our plaster had black algae or mold spots all over it. The Pool Scrubbers showed up early, finished in a timely manner, and did a fantastic job, for the price they quoted. I will refer them to my friends as they were so professional! My pool looks amazing and they completely removed the black algae spots in 1 day!
The Pool Scrubbers helped explain our new pool to my wife and I (we just moved here from Michigan). We asked them if they could convert our pool to a Salt Water System. Within 3 days we had our new system, but a month later began to have a power problem. They came over the next day, and switched out our unit for a brand new one (covered under warranty at no cost to us whatsoever). A few weeks later our old pump began to loose prime. They recognized right away that our pump and valves had some air leaks and tried to fix them the least expensive way possible. At my request, I asked them if it was their pool what would they do? They suggested replacing the entire intake valve system and upgrading the pump from a 1.5 to a 2.0 hp. I am a mechanical engineer and I could see they were giving me the correct advice, so we went with the upgrade because I wanted long term reliability. The new pump and valve system worked amazing and completely eliminated the priming problems and my pool now has twice as much flow as before. They had great communication, they were on time, they stand behind their work, and I would rate them an A+ and would highly recommend them to anyone. In fact, we need some work done to our heater before the fall, and there is no question who we will call....The Pool Scrubbers!
The Pool Scrubbers spent a great deal of time explaining the ropes to this first time pool owner. They went over every question I had plus those I wasn't even aware to ask. I know who to use from now on- thanks Pool Scrubbers!
The Pool Scrubbers crew did a fabulous job! I called with an emergency and they were there immediately with a crew to completely clean our pool. The crew worked late beyond operating hours into the night and made our pool look beautiful when finished. Very professional and would recommend to anyone that asked. They are now my go to pool company. (Large commercial 100,000 gallon pool with black algae...had to be completed before the weekend)
Not our first experience, but EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS WITH PROFESSIONALISM, QUALITY & TIMELY SERVICE. THE OTHER POOL COMPANIES TO LEARN FROM THIS GREAT TEAM.
MY CUDOS AND ATTA BOYS....THANKS FOR A GREAT JOB WELL DONE..........LKS
I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire Pool Scrubbers crew! We are first time pool owners and had the unfortunate experience of coming home from a trip to find a green pool. We called The Pool Scrubbers first thing on a Monday morning and they made it out to our pool that afternoon. Together we decided the best course of action would be to drain and clean the pool. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. We trusted their judgement on the best course of action, and could not be happier with the results. The crew started the work on Tuesday morning, and by Thursday afternoon we had a sparkling pool once again. In addition to the drain and clean, we decided to have The Pool Scrubbers install a saltwater conversion and a new heater. Chad and Linda also spent time with my husband and I to teach us about our system and how to take care of it ourselves. As first time pool owners, the pool school was invaluable! I would definitely recommend the Pool Scrubbers and will use them again in the future.
The Pool Scrubbers literally rescued us from 10 years of maintenance neglect by another pool service company. Chad & Linda and the rest of their team were honest, thorough, knowledgeable, prompt & professional. The Pool Scrubbers have restored our faith in the service industry! (replaced heater, spa blower fixed cleaner).
Excellent service! Great communications from start to finish, timely follow up on request for services thru arrival on site, on time, worked me into schedule that was over capacity due to urgent request, knowledgeable about products, repairs made. Very happy and would recommend to family and friends.
Top Notch Service. After several failed attempts to fix my pool with other companies, I called Poolscrubbers. They were out the next day, gave me a detailed estimate of cost and time and then proceeded to do exactly what they said. And all of this was done while I was out of town, over email with daily updates including pictures. I would recommend Poolscrubbers without reservation to anyone and they will be my first call for all pool related service in the future.
Our pool pump had a galvanized adapter that had rusted and was leaking. Matt quoted us a price. Chad came out to do the repair. The pipe was rusted and took much longer to replace than originally anticipated. Chad did a great job. Even though it took longer and had complications, there was no additional charge. I am sold on Pool Scrubbers and will definitely use them again.
Matt and Chad are very professional and took the time to explain what was wrong with my pool. Their service was outstanding and thorough. They have literally rescued my pool from a disaster. They are very honest people and have not tried to sell us anything we did not need. Shop around but before you buy check these people out. You will be pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend this company.
Very good, very knowledgeable, and demonstrated how everything worked. I would use them again, no question!
I have had a GREAT experience with The Pool Scubbers! They provide photos of before and after, are very professional and time effective! I would recommend them over any other pool service provider! I work for a property management company and have worked with multiple pool cleaning companies that have let me down, and feel so blessed to have found The Pool Scrubbers! I know that I can trust their judgement and work ethic.
After trying 3 times to get another company out only to have them not show each time, I called The Pool Scrubbers. They were out the next day and did a great job. They were very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them for your pool needs.
The Pool Scrubbers rescued my pool after another pool company took my money yet could not fix the algae problem after 3 weeks of trying. The other company also told me I needed a new motor and new filters. The Pool Scrubbers had my pool beautiful again in 3 days! They gave very informative information without being pushy or obnoxious. They told me my existing motor and filters were fine. They were fFriendly, accurate, and delivered what was promised and my end was easy. They also worked well with females. I wish I had used them first!
We have used The Pool Scrubbers before, and recently had our pump go out. We have a home warranty so I was required to use their repair man. While the other company was here, we had them service the filter because we were having a bad algae problem in our pool. They supposedly serviced our filters. A few days later the algae came back like wildfire. We decided to give the Pool Scrubbers a call (having used them in the past). Matt came over on Thursday evening, and began to clean the pool and filter. He immediately found the filter was clogged with algae and all of the DE grids were broken. (The other company should have noticed that). Matt offered us a couple of different options ranging from $250-$2500. Without any pressure, we elected to change over to a high capacity cartridge filter rather than the old DE filter, and decided to switch over to a salt water system (at his recommendation) Because we trust his judgement, we opted to spend the $2500 to do the upgrades. He came over the next evening (Friday) and stayed from 5:30PM-9:30PM until both systems were completed. We were out of town over the weekend. When we got home on Sunday, our pool looked amazing. It has not been this clean in years. We are so glad to be rid of the DE powder and backwashing. We wish we would have done this years ago. We feel like we having been driving a clunky old manual transmission car for years and now have a luxury car with an automatic! We love it. We are so happy with the results!
After two other pool companies failed to remedy my problems, I found The Pool Scrubbers online. They resolved my problems and exceeded my expectations. My pool now looks better than it has ever been. Unlike other companies, he checked my system thoroughly, offered tips and answers my questions with legitimate information that solved my problems. I would use this company again, and would recommend them to my friends.
Work was performed when promised, and at the price quoted. Area was cleaned up when job was done. Very professional, I would use this company again for sure.
The Pool Scrubbers did an excellent job of cleaning my pool and getting rid of algae (I have fought it all summer). They also educated me on my pool. I will definitely use the Pool Scrubbers in the future and recommend them to my friends.
My pool had been suffering from poor pump peformance and algae problems. We were just about to replace my pump at a cost of $800 when Matt found something else wrong with my old pump (a broken basket which had allowed rocks and acorns to clog up my impeller blades). He was able to tear the pump apart, repair the problem, and clean my pool and filter for $500 which was a welcome relief as I was prepared to spend $800. The Pool Scrubbers do excllent work at a fair price, and I would highly reccomend them. My pool looks and works perfect again!
The Pool Scrubbers did an excellent job cleaning my pool, changing the filters and installing a salt water system. They were polite, professional and worked hard. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it. Last, they delivered excellent results.
Converted my pool to a salt water system and cleaned all the algae out of my filtration system and pool.

Matt did an excellant job, immediately went to work right after my call and had it done in two days. He cleaned my DE filter and all the algae out of my pool and installed the Salt Water system. He delivers what is promised was punctual and thorough. The pool has never looked better! He even let my kids help who were running around asking him tons of questions about the job and I loved that he was very patient with them and even let them hold tools, etc. I would highly recommend him to others who want a salt water system.
Our automatic hot tub valve actuator was not working at all. They came out, fixed the problem in 20 minutes, charged us a normal $100 service call. We had been quoted $450 by another company. We have used the Pool Scrubbers in the past to clean algae out of our pool...and we will use them again.
Our pool pump had a leak where the pipe came up and out of the top. They came out and, repaired the leak by replacing the pipe, re-tested to make sure there were no leaks. They were very professional, explained what they intended to do before hand. They were very professional, on time, and did an excellent job with the repair. I would use this company again.
We had our pool fully emptied and cleaned. The process went very well and the outcome was great. We would use them again for sure.
The Pool Scrubbers did a great job! They came on time, were very professional, and used good judgement in what should or should not be done to protect the rocks and plaster. Thank you!
The Pool Scrubbers were on time, professional, and cleaned and vacuumed my pool, taught me how to properly clean my filter and balance my chemicals.
We recently became pool owners for the first time. Matt, his crew and I have become very good friends as they have replaced needed equipment and been very patient in educating me on the pool and maintenance. I recommend them.
We had a reoccurring algae problem with our pool as well as some equipment problems. Matt correctly diagnosed the problems, and within a few days had our pool cleaned, our filters cleaned, and our equipment working properly. When we discovered the salt equipment is not operating, Matt provided me with specific care instrucions for the pool until we can get the salt equipment fixed or replaced. Thank you Matt, you are the Bomb!
We had problems with both our salt cell and our pool pump this summer. Matt was helpful in giving us options for the replacements and quick with getting the new parts back and running. Joe always does a great job keeping the pool looking great.
Reputable company, with friendly, efficient work force.
I called on Monday (labor day) and asked if there was any way they could come over and clean my pool. Matt showed up within 30 minutes, had the pool cleaned a short time later. When I described the problem I was having (dirt coming out my jets when I vacuum) he took the time to take the filter apart, and noticed a major problem. I graded them an A on Angie's list.
Matt explained what was needed to bring our pool back to where it was supposed to be and then did it for his estimate. Once completed, Matt proceded to direct us on how to best keep our pool in top shape without the need of outside help. Without pushing, he told us of improvements he could make for us if we so decided in the future. Thanks, Matt.
Finally we have found a pool professional that we trust and like. Matt happily takes our bi yearly pool maintenaince business, and does not pester us to get on an expensive weekly program. When we got the salt system installed he came back the next day to make sure all was running smoothly. You will not be disappointed if you call the pool scrubbers to help you with your pool.
Thanks for all your hard work, time and patience. We are very happy with how everything turned out!!
