Have you ever seen a house with a Lazy river built into their pool? Well, we had not either until last month. It is probably the coolest family pool we have ever worked on! Here is how we got involved.. we were asked to work on/replace a 10HP electric motor that runs the main pump for a large beautiful backyard LAZY RIVER (just like the kind at the water park). A company called River Flow technology called us and asked us if we could perform a motor swap on a large Lazy River system. They said as best as they could tell, we were the only pool repair company they could find with the proper license and insurance to work on this large electric motor. We carry the required Texas Residential Appliance Installer’s Contractor License which is required to do any repair work on electrical equipment. This system is valued at $10,000 and they wanted someone they cold trust. We of course told them we had never worked on something that large before but they assured us they could walk us through step by step (which they did). After all the parts were installed, the river flow motor worked flawlessley…makes us wish we had one in our own backyard. Here is the review from the home-owner:
K. Rakowski…League City: “We have a large Lazy River in our pool. The large 10hp electric motor had gone out. River Flow contacted The Pool Scrubbers LLC and asked them to come out and replace our motor as they were the only licensed technicians in our area. This was not a typical repair for them, yet they worked diligently to learn the procedure to get the job done. Our overall experience was an A+. I would use them again no question.”
